Giving

At Harbor Church, we don't want anyone to give out of compulsion. Giving money doesn't make God love you more or make him more pleased with you. We give our money out of worship - a thankful heart that realizes it is God that has given us all we have and we love to give it back to Him to advance the Kingdom.  That's why every Sunday there is an opportunity to bring an offering or gift.

But many of us pay bills online or are used to giving money to charities online. It is easy to give on the computer and set up recurring payments and track any gifts you've made.  You will always be able to bring an offering on the Sunday, but here are some other ways to give to the mission of Harbor Church.

Setup Instructions for Auto-Pay Through Your Bank

By setting up direct payment through your bank, Harbor Church gets 100% of the funds you donate, as there are no transaction processing fees.

Every bank is different, and every online banking interface is also going to be different. The following is a general explanation of the process, and if you have additional questions about how to setup automatic bill pay, please contact your bank directly.

1) Log-in to your online banking. >> For example, www.usbank.com
2) Select “Bill Pay.”
3) Select “Add Payee or Bill.”
4) Enter the applicable information for Harbor Church. Our mailing and physical address is 40 Pleasant St Basement, Portsmouth NH 03801 and our office phone number is 603-319-1567.
5) Select “Recurring Payment.” Enter the appropriate dollar amount and frequency. (You may need to click on something like "Manage your bills" first)
6) Select “Finish” or “Add Bill”.

Give Online through The City

Our social networking site, The City, has added new ways to give, including recurring payments, checking account transfers, and payment by credit/debit card. You can now use the giving page on The City for these new, convenient ways of giving to Harbor Church. You can also follow you weekly giving and access your total giving easily through your City Account.
