Ever feel like coming to church is like a drive-thru McDonalds? Little connection, short conversations, in and out? That was never what "church" was intended to be. We don't want to be that kind of church. While there is time during our Sunday meeting to connect with other people, we don't think that's enough. Each month, after the Sunday meeting, we're going to be having an after hours party at the UNDERGROUND (40 Pleasant St, our church offices). There will be food and refreshments provided by our community groups, a relaxed atmosphere and a place for your kids to hang out. Come for a few minutes or hang our for an hour. We want to make it as easy as possible for each of us to connect with one another. AFTER HOURS parties are held every three weeks. The party starts at 6:15 so that we can give parents an opportunity to collect their kids. Feel free to hang out in the North Church building until then and then head down with the rest of the crowd.
